About

Taylor Olsen is a New Jersey–based writer, reader, and occasional Gen Z apologist. Born and raised here, she carries the cadence of Jersey with her—sharp edges, dry humor, and a deep affection for the people and places that shaped her.

She graduated from Rowan University with a degree unrelated to writing, then immediately found a job unrelated to that degree. On paper, it’s chaos, but in practice, it’s proof that she’ll always chase after what matters.

Her work moves between fiction and nonfiction, exploring girlhood, love, unlikely relationships, and the messy, complicated beauty of everyday life.

She is currently at work on her debut novel.
